GO Transit values the sacrifice of our war veterans. It’s an
honour to recognize your valour, and we’d like to show our gratitude
by offering you and one companion free transportation to this year’s
Warriors’ Day Parade at the CNE on Saturday, August 21, 2010.
The Warriors’ Day Parade is the longest running veterans parade
in the free world and has been a part of the CNE since 1921. The
parade will start at 10:30 a.m. at the Princes' Gates and continue
down Princes' Blvd. Further information about the Warriors' Day
Parade can be found at
www.thewarriorsdayparade.ca.
You and one companion may ride free. Please wear your medals,
beret, blazer, uniform, or something else that clearly identifies
you as a war veteran.
The immediate families of deceased veterans may also ride free.
Please make sure you carry something to identify your relation to
the deceased veteran, such as an identification card or service
papers.
Where is the Exhibition GO located?

Manitoba Drive and Nova Scotia Avenue, between the Horse Palace and
the Food Building.
Will GO staff be at the Exhibition GO Station?
Exhibition GO Station is staffed for special events only and will

starting Friday, August 20 to Monday, September 6, 2010.
What GO Train lines offer train service to the CNE?

from the Lakeshore lines only. We have made some service adjustments
to our weekday and Labour Day long weekend Lakeshore services
service. Click here for your
schedules.
Do you have any travel tips for GOing to the EX?
Additional passenger volumes can be expected for the duration of
the CNE at all Lakeshore line stations and at Exhibition station in
particular. We recommend that you arrive at least 15-20 minutes
before your train departs for extra time to purchase tickets and to
board the train. It is also recommended that you purchase two-ride
tickets, a day pass or a group pass, when applicable, to avoid
lining up again on your way home.
Do I have to pay to go to Ontario Place?
No. CNE admission only includes grounds admission to Ontario
Place and does not include the cost of rides or other Ontario Place
attractions. Please contact Ontario Place for details at
416-314-9900 or visit
www.ontarioplace.com.
If I have an Ontario Place admission do I still have to
pay to go to the CNE?
If you have purchased a Canadian Family Play All Summer Pass,
then this will give you free admission to the CNE grounds. This is
the only pass that allows you free admission to the CNE but does not
include access to the rides as they must be paid for separately.
I have tickets for a show at the Molson Amphitheatre at
Ontario Place. Do I have to pay for admission to the CNE?
Molson Amphitheatre (Ontario Place) concert tickets include
grounds admission to the CNE and Ontario Place. This admission does
not include rides at either the CNE or Ontario Place.
Is there a shuttle bus service from Union Station to the
CNE?
No. There will not be a shuttle bus service to the CNE from Union
this year.
How do I purchase tickets for the Air Show?
As the Air Show does not have reserved seating, tickets are not
available for purchase for this attraction. CNE admission includes
the Air Show and there is limited bleacher seating available on a
"first come basis."
